I've had a One and Charge HR 2 for a while; they are very good at keeping a live handshake with both my iPhone 6SE and iPad (kudos to Fitbit for allowing multiple sync targets).
I've had the Inspire HR for about a week (hoping to replace the One and Charge), but it loses pairing with the 6SE. I've tried all-day pairing and that is not working either.
It appears I need to open up the app and pull to refresh.

I'm having the SAME issue. It hasn't synced in mow than 30 hours!! First it was the battery. Then we can't use certain clocks. The short cord is driving me NUTS and now it's not syncing. I'm done! Sending this back! Glad I kept my Alta HR!

This is not helpful. We can all connect, and then the bluetooth connection is just lost with no warning, and then we do not receive any notifications. You have a serious software issue here and you're trying to make it a user error when it's not.
Notifications are an advertised feature of this FitBit. If the Inspire HR cannot maintain a reliable bluetooth connection so that we receive notifications, then the product has a serious flaw and needs to be recalled or a software update needs to be issued ASAP. This is not acceptable performance for a brand new product.

I just returned my Fitbit. Not much use if it won't connect.

My Inspire HR stopped syncing this past weekend. Worked for just under a month. Tried all the fixes listed, no help.
Had no issues with my Charge HR for three years. Regret getting the Inspire HR. Are Fitbit taking accountability for this issue?

I really wish I hadn’t lost my Alta! Bought the Inspire to replace it but I’m having the same Bluetooth issues as everyone else. So frustrating!

Did you get any further with this? My Inspire HR synced periodically for a few days after I bought it, although I was continually having to reconnect the Bluetooth manually, but now won't sync at all. it is saying that there is an incorrect PIN or passkey, but I don't see how - I have not been prompted to add a PIN since I set it up. Please help!

Mine eventually started working and I haven't fiddled with it since in case it stops working. You do get a pin sent to your device when you try and set it up with app. Try starting all over again by unconnecting the fitbit from the app then deleting the app and re-installing it. If this doesn't work ,worth calling the help desk.

What helped me: install latest 2.94 version of Fitbit app and upgrade phone OS to Android 9.0.
Until then thought of sending the band back as it was useless and completely below any expectations:all manual solutions of multiply switching on/off, removal connections, restarts, etc. provided here cant be acceptable - you don't expect doing this all the time for such 24/7 device, which supposed to be invisible companion.

having exactly the same problem. wish i had an answer. the ap will say paired an come back to it later and it says Inspire HR and bluetooth not paired. "try again". consequently the main reason for wanting the tracker was to track sleep. Since the fit bit and the bluetooth randomly "unpair" I don't think I am getting reliable or believable info about my sleep, which IT says is less than 3 hours a night.

This is probably the worst software i have seen. I just bought the device and now it has stopped syncing? Shows me the incorrect time (off by almost 6 hours), and there is no easy way to sync. What an absolute waste of money

I have the same issue, had the Inspire HR for 3 months, first month worked fine but now it won't last for more than a few days before it completely fails to sync and I have to completely unpair it for it to sync again. I have a Pixel 3 and also pair my phone bluetooth with Android Auto.

Some people have found a workaround by installing earlier version 2.95 of the Fitbit app, at least until the devs manage to offer a solution with a newer reliable version of 3.x.

Add me to this long list of people with a Fitbit Inspire that has quit syncing with the fit bit app on the iPad and/or iPhone. I’ve had my Inspire a couple of months with no problem. Then it quit syncing last night at 12:22 pm (I know because it tells me so) and now it won’t sync with either device, no matter what I do. My iPad actually tells me that the Inspire is connected, but when I go to the app, it won’t download the data from my Fitbit. And I have tried everything suggested to fix the problem. I’m very disappointed, I used an Alta HR for two years with very few issues, but had to go to the Inspire when they quit making the Alta and no bands were available. Guess I’ll move to an Apple Watch and use my a Fitness Pal now. Too bad, because I was quite loyal to Fitbit as long as the platform worked.
