Hello,
I woke up this morning to my fitbit saying I had 51,283 steps. I checked the app and it looks like all the steps came in at a single moment sometime in the 4am hour. Needless to say this isn't accurate! I wear my fitbit all night so it doesn't come into contact with anything vibrating. I tried syncing and that did nothing.
Any ideas as to how to remove these steps and why this may have happened?

@Ceimes Welcome to the Community.
This is odd. Do you have any third party apps linked to your account or have you manually logged any activities? These could explain the phantom steps you see tracked during your sleep. Try logging a driving activity to negate these steps and check the things I mentioned to see if they are influencing this in any way.
Hope this helps.
