I recently replaced my Charge HR with an Inspire HR and have a few questions about how to use it that I was unable to find on the help website:
1. How do you start/stop sleep? On the Charge, you could hold the button down when you went to bed and then again when you got up. I know it detects sleep automatically, but this is inaccurate as it doesn't think I get up until I've already been up and moving around for a while.
2. Where is the resting heart rate on my dashboard? After I sync my Fitbit, I pull up Fitbit.com to see my stats on the computer and the resting HR tile is blank.
3. Although I prefer to use a computer for a comprehensive view on all my stats, I would be interested in "opening" the various apps on my device to check in or use through the day: I can scroll through them, but nothing happens when I tap on the various apps.
I hope someone can help me figure out how to work with this new device!

Hi @ironXtreme there is a whole area devoted to the Inspire HR, which includes the user manual and related articles. Click here to go there. Most of your questions should be answered by reading them.

The questions I posed here are the things I couldn't find answers to on the website.
For example, in the link to sleep tracking it doesn't say anything about how to start/stop your sleep when you go to bed and get up.
I hope someone can help me figure out how to do something besides look at this Fitbit Inspire...

So much of these devices rely on your using an app on a smartphone or tablet, as the computer can't give you live reports. You can see your heart rate on your dashboard via the computer. Sleep is automatic. Your Fitbit doesn't have apps on it, merely a variety of data information. The app on the smart phone would have tiles, which offer more information than the actual device. You don't use a smartphone?

Thanks for helping me out.
I think I'm starting to figure out how to check the stats on my dashboard, but I'm still a bit hung up on the tracking, since I used the "start/stop" feature a lot with my old Fitbit Charge HR.
-I figured out how to start an activity, but as I exercises the time disappears, and I end up with 3hr+ before it stops automatically. Do you know how to get back to the time and stop and activity?
-Does sleep only track automatically? It doesn't kick in until I've been asleep long enough to be "still" so I prefer to start it when I go to bed vs. wait for it to realize I've been asleep. Same for a 30min nap. Really liked the ability to manually start/stop sleep on the Charge, is that not possible on the Inspire?

Hi Alejandra,
As noted in my previous reply, the questions I posed here are the things I couldn't find the answer to on those links. I'm starting to navigate the dashboard better, but still have a couple hang-ups with the apps on my device:
1. Sleep: can you not start/stop sleep manually on the Fitbit Inspire? The autosleep timing is off and also cannot detect things like a 30min nap. I miss the ability to push start/stop before/after sleep on my Fitbit Charge. 😞
2. Activity: according to the website directions, you should be able to find a gear icon to keep the display on during the activity. I cannot find this gear icon for the life of me, and when I start an activity the timer just keeps going for hours.
I hope you can help me out!
Thanks
