Inspire HR won't sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The last time my Inspire HR successfully synced was 11 November 2020, I stopped using it for a while and since reusing it have failed to sync. I have tried rebooting the device, clearing all the data, uninstalling the app and re-installing as well as turning on/off bluetooth.

Seems to be a common issue.

I have the exact same issue stopped using for a bit and now can't get it to sync! Have tried everything you said too, did you find a solution?

No, I was hoping someone on here would have the answer.

@axgriffi @Jenbatt It's good that the community is growing!

Let me help you with this and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest your try clearing the link between your phones and your trackers (these instructions includes some steps that you have already tried):

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.

I solved the issue by deleting the device and re-pairing. Nothing else worked.

Unfortunately, I like all the others have followed everything. Nothing seems to be working besides giving headaches. 😔

Me too.  It was partly syncing (steps but not sleep or active minutes).  I have tried all the steps except when I got to "try and unpaid your device and then pair it again"... Now it won't pair.  😢

I am having the same issue with not being able to sync my device with the app, all of a sudden.  So my Inspire HR is now useless.  Please fix this issue Fitbit!   Seems like a lot of problems are related to Fitbit updates.

I have the same problem. Inspire hr has worked a year nicely, now it doesn't sync at all. Contacted support and he said that i have wrong phone (oukitel wp6, android) but it is odd that the problem is my phone when everything was ok 2 days a go and whole year before that. I have tried everything (by myself and with support) and still nothing. Now my device has wrong time, i can't put alarms, all settings are wrong, so hole device is useless. I'm so annoyed and there is nothing i can do. Support just cut me off when he said all is done what is possible to do, so i only thing there is to do is a buy now phone or throw my inspire hr to the trash. Great support i say.. 😕

Same problem.  Time off by half an hour. Bluetooth keeps dropping connection.  Have a much newer iPhone now.  Why is this a problem?
