Inspire Screen Blinks, lost sleep mode and steps

At 3:30 am on 3/31/20 my Inspire stopped tracking sleep, refused to count steps, and the clock face blinks about every second. I also had an issue syncing and pairing with bluetooth (iOS). The battery, which was at 90% on Sunday, appeared to drain overnight.

Have cleaned contacts, charged, reset according to fitbit instructions(twice), changed clock face, turned off notifications, turned off wake feature, turned off all day sync.

Screen still blinks about every second. I turned off the screen wake on movement, so it won't be so annoying or drain the battery so quickly.

However, I would like to have suggestions for a fix to these weird issues that seemed to have cropped up all at once.

April 23, 3:30 pm, charging again. Today’s activity consisted mostly of sitting at my desk, and the device went from 100% to 9% in less than six hours.

I also realized that the Fitbit app has been running continuously in the background on my iOS phone (6+) for the same amount of time. I do not know if issues are related, but both the phone and the device are currently on the charger.

I have turned off both background refresh (ios) and all day sync (app) to see it this makes a difference in the battery life of both devices.

April 20: 9 pm Fitbit Restart, Charged Overnight

April 21: 8 am - Fitbit Fully Charged, 100% Battery

April 22:  9 pm - Fitbit Fully Depleted (3% when attached to charger)

April 22: 9 pm - Charged Overnight

April 23: 5 am – Fitbit Fully Charged, 100% Battery, Fitbit Restart

The clockface still blinks -sometimes. I have attached a video to illustrate.

Also, I thought I turned off the wake on raise feature, but the clockface still wakes up when I turn my wrist, which may explain some of the battery issue.

Last night when I was in bed, the clockface would not go to sleep. It was on or blinking on and off at one-second intervals. Of course the device was drained in the morning.

I am now at the point where if I want to continue to use my Inspire HR, I have to charge it 2-3 times a day. I find that to be unacceptable for a product I've had exactly one year.

I included a video of the blinking clockface in one of my support responses. I'll figure out a way to upload it here in the event anyone else has been experiencing this issue and can offer a solution.
