Inspire not recording steps

Yesterday my Inspire didn't record any steps at all!  The time was correct and calories used showed up but no steps!  Today it seems to be working ok.  Anyone else have this issue?

It's good to know that you're now able to see all your information, however, before considering other options, please make sure that you've also completed the restart procedure described here, and check how the device is performing for the following days.

My Inspire didn't record my steps yesterday either. When I got home from work, I did a "reboot" and then it started counting my steps again.

 

I have a feeling many of these issues we're having are at FitBit's end - on their servers - not on our end.

How do I 'reboot' my inspire. It stopped counting steps this morning. I have had it for almost a month. This is the first problem.

Thank you for sharing this information about your Inspire no longer counting your steps. 

You can find all the steps to complete the restart procedure in this article, this has been useful to other users experiencing something similar. 

Then check if you continue to experience the same behavior with your step count.

I was able to restart & it's been working fine.

Hi today my inspire decided not to count my steps and have reset as instructed but made no difference.... any advice welcome

It’s 730 at night and mine has only recorded 1136 steps. I have been all over the place and into many stores today. Very upsetting.

All I get on mine is the time everything else does not show up.

You need to reset your Fitbit. Google how to reset it and it is very easy.

Thank you for confirming that you're only able to see the time on your Fitbit Inspire HR. 

Before considering other options, could you please confirm if you were able to see your information on the display again after the restart procedure that @Sharon2631 suggested earlier? You can find the steps to complete it here a well: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hi,

my fit bit stopped counting steps after 9 pm today. Is there a setting i need to change for it to count my steps 24/7?

You need to reset the Fitbit. Google how to reset it by plugging it in to the adapter. It was very easy for me.

Thank you for sharing that you've been having the same problem with your steps not being recorded by your Inspire device. 

As @Sharon2631 mentioned earlier, could you please confirm if you've tried the steps mentioned here to complete the restart procedure?  Then check if you continue to experience the same behavior.
