Inspire not syncing with Kindle

I have been trying to sync my son's fitbit with his Kindle app & now I'm seeing that you can't sync with the kindle app? It would be great if I could sync all the fitbit on my phone. Do we really want to require kids to have a smartphone to wear a fitness tracker watch? Counterproductive

@TheJet8 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!

Let me help you syncing your son's Fitbit. The Kindle doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure Bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

If you can't still sync it you can try your own phone and sync it in the evening or whenever you have time. You just need to log into his account to do this.

Let me know how it goes.
