My mom and I both got inspire around a year ago. Both have stop tracking sleep. Will not sync to our phone apps. My Bluetooth I know works just fine as I can repair it however it still will not track sleep or sync once paired. I have reset and reinstalled this app. I just am at a loss! ☹️

@samanthagibbons Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you syncing your Inspire with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you and your mother using? Are they compatibleYou can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

I guess that if your tracker can't sync then your sleep data and other metrics won't show on your account. Lets see if once the tracker start syncing you see your sleep data, if you don't then reach out to me to help further troubleshoot your device.

Let me know how it goes.

I am having the same problem the OP described. The last sync was 3 days ago. Since then, neither my phone nor my Windows 10 app has been able to locate the Fitbit. I've followed the instructions to restart my phone, restart the Fitbit, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, turn bluetooth off then back on, confirmed the permissions are correct, etc., but none of these has helped solve the problem. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

No that didn’t change anything. Plus I lost all my step from yesterday somehow now. I don’t know why it’s not working?

That's exactly what happened to me.  After I deleted the Bluetooth connection as it said, then I could no longer even bring it up.  I don't know why, but after a week or two I somehow I was able to sync on my iPad.  I hadn't deleted the Bluetooth connection on that.  Now some days it says unable to find the device and other days it syncs fine.  Not sure what's up with that, but think they should really do an update to fix the issue.

Same problem here. I keep getting a message that the last sync was at 11:51 yesterday morning. I also get a "Notification required for connectivity features" message when I click on the message. Sleep does not work and it will not sync with Windows 10 app. I really don't want to delete all my bluetooth devices. Isn't there a way to fix this without doing so?

I've had a similar problem on and off for a few months. I tried the steps in the help forums. Now, I can only sync my Inspire with my phone (Android 8.0.0) if I restart the Inspire device. It's really quite annoying.

I have the exact same problem. I have talked with Fitbit and Apple support. My iphone 7 is fine. This is a Fitbit problem and I am fed up with Fitbit not taking responsibility by saying so and give us Apple users accurate information. Instead Fitbit keeps telling us to restart, uninstall/reinstall, etc.  I have used Fitbit products since 2013. Prior to this current issue, Fitbit support was helpful; resolved the issue appropriately and quickly. Frankly, I am very  disappointed that I have recently spent over $250 on 2 different Fitbit products that are now useless. I find this to unacceptable business practice. If Fitbit no longer wants to work with Apple, I wish they would just be honest and say so. So we Apple users can decide how to proceed with obtaining a fitness tracking device that will work with Fitbit or choose a totally different fitness tracker that will work with Apple. I am so disappointed

I've restarted my phone, turned Bluetooth off and back on .... nothing is working.. Can't get the Inspire Bluetooth all-day sync setting to stick - keeps asking to set up Bluetooth but it won't do anything, but it's showing in my Bluetooth apps in iPhone settings.

Any way to re-pair the Inspire or is this, as it usually is, FitBit's fault?

For me tp get my inspire to sync, I turn off bluetooth, restart my HP computer, turn bluetooth back on, and then install it as a new device-- I've been doing it about every 4 days for 4 months and it is the only way I have found to sync.  At least that works pretty consistently.
