Hi there,
I am currently looking in the market for a health/exercise tracking device and I think the Inspire HR is my best option. However there is one thing stopping me from buying it:
I have looked every where but can't confirm what the longest duration for tracking an exercise can be with GPS enabled.
Ideally I would like to track an exercise and GPS data over the course of 48 hours whilst using my phone for GPS signal (phone battery won't be an issue).
Can anyone confirm whether this is possible or not?
Thanks

Hello @heffnat and a warm welcome. I don't think Fitbit gives that information anywhere. In this post, the user was able to track hikes of 10 hours at a time. Sadly, the maps did not load on his phone. I don't know if the maps loaded on the web dashboard.
Maps do show an elevation change based on phone GPS data. One of the things I would like to point out is that the Inspire HR does not have an altimeter in it and does not count floors.

@heffnat, welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!
Thank you for your inquiry. As @LZeeW we don't have information about the maximum time you could go recording your GPS activity (as you know not many phones will last this long on) but if you wish you can try this yourself with the activities you do (it sounds like you hike or something similar). Remember that you have a 45 days window to return your device if you buy it from the Fitbit store or you could consult with your local retailer about their return policy and timeframe.
Let me know how it goes.
