My Inspire HR is now occasionally not tracking my activities at all, walks or swim. Irritatingly I have resorted to logging manually. Yesterday it did show my swim when I synced, but then it did not show up at all in the exercises done. Later on I did an hours walk which showed me my steps, which then did not show up at all afterwards and did not register the walk in the exercise section.
Am getting highly annoyed with it. Bought it last August so it is only a few months old.
Any suggestions?

Had almost a similar problem today. Completed a run around 0830 in the morning and synced the run to the iPhone OS app almost immediately. App correctly captured the heart rate, exercise zones etc but did not recognize the activity as a run till about 8 hours later. Normally the activity would be recognized as a run shortly after the sync,
Has anyone else encountered this lengthy delay?
@Fitbit- would you have an explanation for this phenomenon.

Discouraging when that happens. I did a 90 min pretty heavy weight work out last night. I was credited with 18 min of exercise. This morning, I briefly walked the dog and I'm already credited with 19. In and of itself, that's not very motivating. Good thing there are other motivating factors.

Since the last firmware update the Fitbit Inspire marked my swimming activity as "Outdoor Riding". So what has changed in the firmware upgrade that has so badly affected this tracking of activity. My Freestyle stroke maybe not be the best technically but I still managed nearly a kilometre, 40 laps of a 25 metre pool.
