Not showing data on Fitbit

On the App, I can see my data, but it isn’t showing on my Fitbit. The watch face says Go to the Tile App on your Phone for set up. When I go to the App, it says I’m linked. 
I tried customer support but the person left the conversation (in 3 minutes) before I even finished typing and it wouldn’t let me continue. I then tried to call but it wanted me to login first and then told me my login info was wrong (it wasn’t). Anyone have this problem?

Hello @AliciaAS70 

 

When you opened the tile app did you tap the + sign at the upper left corner of the screen then under Activate a Tile Enabled Device, select Fitbit?

There is no plus sign at the top left side of my Fitbit App. Are you saying I need a different App/Tile App? How would I know that? I didn’t receive any information from Fitbit that I needed a different app?Thanks for your help!

Follow these instructions: 

Activate your Fitbit Inspire 2

  1. Download the Tile app on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Create and confirm your account (if you don't have an existing Tile account).
  3. Download the Fitbit app and set up your Fitbit account (if you don't have an existing Fitbit account).
  4. Launch the Fitbit app and follow the instructions to add your Inspire 2 to your Fitbit app. Keep the Inspire 2 next to your smartphone or tablet. Allow the app to update your Inspire 2 if you are prompted.
  5. Open the Tile app.
  6. Tap the + sign at the upper left corner of the screen.
  7. Under Activate a Tile Enabled Device, select Fitbit.
  8. Follow the on-screen instructions.

If you're unable to activate, restart both your Fitbit Inspire 2 and your phone before trying again. You can restart your Fitbit Inspire 2 by going into Settings > Reboot Device.

I followed all of your directions but cannot restart my Inspire 2 because there is no reboot device option in my settings. I still can’t see the time or my data on my Fitbit. Please explain why I need 2 apps to work my Fitbit. Seems ridiculous. Considering switching to an Apple Watch.

Hello again @AliciaAS70 

 

You can restart your Inspire 2 instead of rebooting. It’s technically the same thing. Here is how you restart your Inspire 2: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm

 

You just need the tile app on your phone to find your Fitbit if you lose it….the tile app on your Fitbit helps locate your phone if you lose it. So they need to link together.
