Not tracking automatically my workouts

I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but according to my Fitbit I’m barely moving! Do I need to go into the app to start counting my workouts? I assumed I could just do my workout & it would track it. I got the InspireHR because I thought it would be helpful for knowing how many calories I’m burning during my workouts but it doesn’t even acknowledge that I’m working out. The lightning bolt is always at zero, the running man is completely inaccurate as to the days I’ve worked out, the calories seem off...I’m SUPER frustrated! The online manual has not been helpful because the information seems to be more for the Versa.
Any suggestions, other than to check the manual, would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @JM695 nice to see you around!

Thanks for reporting the issues with your Inspire HR. You did a great job performing those steps. Your Fitbit Inspire HR automatically recognize and record high-movement activities such as walk, run, or runs at least 15 minutes long through the SmartTrack feature.

You can choose which activities your Fitbit tracks automatically from the list of options, or change the amount of time required for the activity to be recorded. Please confirm that you've check the following:

  1. On the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Exercise tile to open your exercise history.
  2. Tap on account
  3. Tap an exercise, and adjust the duration or turn off Auto-rec
  4. Restart your Fitbit Inspire HR if this feature isn't working automatically

Sorry about this inconvenience when tracking you activities. For your missing activities, you can manually log them on the Fitbit app.

I'll be waiting for your reply.
