Operating two trackers at the same time without merging their data

I have had a Fitbit One for many years. It is taking longer to charge so I expect it is nearing the end of its life. I bought a Fitbit Inspire to eventually replace my One (because I couldn't get a new One)

.

Here is what I would like to do. I want to operate the two trackers in parallel until the One dies. I want to be able to compare their performance so I know what to expect from the Inspire when the One dies. I do not want the data for the two trackers to be merged or combined in any way.

I have a Windows 10 desktop with one version of the app running since it is not possible (or is it?) to run two separate versions of the app. So it it possible to operate the two trackers separately without the data being merged? I did set up two separate accounts on the web site but there doesn't seem to be any way that I can see to attach the two accounts to the app in a way that the data stays separate and I can switch between the two.

I mostly use the phone app so not too familiar with desktop app, but I think all you need to do is to log out of the app with one account/email, then log in with the other account/email. You say you have 2 accounts set up, I assume with different emails.  Just have one tracker with one account and the other with the other account, though it will require keeping logging in and out the 2 accounts.

It would be easier if you have another possible sync device, maybe a table or smart phone, but if not it should be totally doable by logging in and out of accounts, assuming you find where to log out.

The data is kept by account/email so there should be no overlap between them.

Thanks, Racer. I was able to find out where to log in/out of the app
despite it being so well hidden. I think this will be the answer to my
problem. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again. Stay safe.
