Hi,

I'm a new user here,

I have a fitbit Inspire, but i'm wondering, how can I record a bike excerse with my fitbit?
It's listed as one of the options, but it's not reconizing my excerse.

Thanks!

Instead of counting on Fitbit to automatically recognize your bike ride, it is safer to use the Exercise App to be sure it gets recorded.  From clock screen scroll up (swipe down) to 'Exercise' and tap that; then scroll up or down to select the exercise you want.  If 'Bike' is not one of the preset defaults there, you can add it.  To see all the exercise types possible and how to add them to the Exercise Shortcut list, see the first few sections of

Are you sure it's the same for the inspire? I don't have the Inspire HR.

I'm asking this because I can't see how I can add a exercise to my list. The only exercises I can click on are walking, hiking or running.

I can't find the 'exercise shortcut' button in the app.

My apologies.  That is available only on Inspire HR, not Inspire.  I have the HR model and thought the only difference was the heart rate monitor, but I now see that is another difference.

So, although the option is possible for my Inspire, I can't add it or use it unless it's detected on its own?

I think that is correct, but am not positive.
