Inspire HR repeatedly loses BT connection with iPhone and app gets stuck at “looking” for tracker.
I have done all the resets, restarts, clear data’s, forgets, reinstalls, etc. and same thing every time!!
This is a huge fail!
Come on Fitbit This is ridiculous!!

I have followed all your suggestions many times. For some time, after “forget this device” I had problems setting it up again. That may be resolved (?) but as soon as it has synced and the data transferred to iPad and iPhone (both on the compatible list) it loses connection and I have to go through it all again. I have had my inspire for about 10 months now and a Fitbit for about 5 years, and apart from the odd sync problem which eventually sorted itself out have had no other problems until last few weeks. I am now seriously considering getting rid but why should I. It should work!

Received my new Inspire HR on Monday. This is my 4th Fitbit. Loved it at first, paired easily to my iPhone 8, began using it. It constantly looses BT connection on my phone. I’ve followed all the directions. Now it will not pair at all. I’m so disappointed .

Looksl like I'm not alone in this!
Lovely watch however the Bluetooth constantly dropping is very annoying.
I've tried everything mentioned in this thread but it doesn't help.
I'm thinking of getting another watch but want something small, light and comfortable as I wear it to sleep,
It's shocking how a company like Fitbit is ignoring users and selling defective product.
I wonder if there is anyway we can collectively raise awareness of this?

Have your Boxer eat this one may save you some stress and frustration in the long run (sad, but true) 🙂

I've been having this exact same problem for the last few weeks. (Iphone 8, latest software, Fitbit Inspire HR) The only way I can usually get it to update is to Forget Device, restart the FItbit App, say allow to the pairing request. That usually works but sometimes I have to repeat the steps. I've also restarted my Inspire several times. I'm about done with FitBit. Loved my One but it gave out after 2 years. Got the Alta HR which, after about 18 mos. suffered from faded screen so bad it couldn't be viewed in a totally dark room. It seems that fitbits only last for about 2 years then need to be replaced. I can't afford to do this so, when my Inspire dies, I'm going back to an Omron step tracker (at least it does stairs too)

I’m having this issue constantly! For the past few weeks. Anyone else and any fixes? It’s driving me crazy!

Mine has actually been really bad the past week or so too. Not sure if there was a new update pushed or it's simply getting worse (although really, how much worse can it get).
If you get any new info or 'wisdom' from FB folks, please share. I don't even both contacting them anymore...seems pointless.

I’m not sure if it’s just luck but I’ve been resetting my Inspire HR every time I charge it in the evening by holding the button when connected to charger until you see the smiley face.
I wear my watch almost 24/7 except for an hour or so in the evening when it’s on charge.

Do you need to charge it every day or is that just habit? I usually only charge mine every 4 days-ish when it's showing 20 percent or lower. Sure hope yours isn't draining down every day. That would be an additional pain point this this whole Inspire bluetooth debacle!

It's just a habit as I take the watch off in the evening before taking my bath. If anything the battery life is excellent on the Fitibit, compared to my Apple Watch 😉
The original rubber strap was really uncomfortable wearing it 24/7 so I've got a steel band which is more comfortable and breathable.
One of the main use of my Fitbit is to monitor my sleep hence why I wear it most of the time.

I have the same problem with my inspire. the bluetooth connection drops out and I can sit and watch it connect, disconnect, connect, disconnect on the bluetooth screen. It often won't stay connected long enough to sync. Then it will finally pop in and stay synced for day or two and then it happens again. It is very frustrating. I have had other fitbits that I loved and never had this problem.

Same with me. This week suddenly my Fitbit HR2 stopped. I bought the Inspire, and I am already two days convicted to update the firmware, ... I followed the advices over and over again. Now I am really fed up with it. Wish I never had bought one again.

If you just bought the Inspire, I would strongly suggest you considering returning it. More grief than what it's worth. My previous Fitbits never behaved like this darn thing. Always hoping they finally find a solution but that does NOT seem to be happening. Good luck!

My Charge 4 suddenly stopped syncing last week and will not recognise a Bluetooth connection at all. My phone can’t even find it half the time. It is awful. Worst thing I have ever bought. I’m gutted because I loved my old Charge 2 which never had an issue.

Same. Forever, it seems. I just don't even sync anymore which is a shame, but it takes 10 minutes to remove, add, setup and sync again. Not worth it. Now I'm trying to do the firmware update and even though the phone is literally TOUCHING the fitbit, it still loses connection at...get this...98% done with the update. So frustrating. Not going to waste money on one of these again, which is a shame as this is my 3rd model of fitbit. It's just not worth the hassle and constant low level frustration.
