The App doesn’t show my sleep score

Hi guys,

The fitbit app tracks my sleep and shows me the sleep cycles but not the SCORE. I checked the settings and the ‘receive sleep score’ setting is ON. Can anyone help?

I’ve the same problem. Sleep score worked for the first two nights, and I received REM sleep time, deep sleep time, etc, all in a better graph too.

Now I get no score and a basic sleep graph and misses when I wake up at night.

I have a Versa Lite.

Are you going in the app and tapping to start recording sleep or are you just autodetecting?

I did a hard reset on the watch, side button for 10 seconds and it worked last night. So I'll see how it goes later.

I saw somewhere that fitbit is going to start charging $10/month for your sleep score. Also google is buying fitbit and with this new method of sleep scope it makes it more valuable to google because of the subscriptions. Me personally If this happens I'm getting a new device and it won't be fitbit brand

Every second day now the sleep score doesn't work and I don't receive my detailed sleep report of REM, Deep Sleep, Light Sleep etc.

Currently I'm resetting my Fitbit every night in the hope that it'll record it correctly, again woke up this morning and no score and limited data.

Either it's a hardware issue, or a software issue but it doesn't work consistently.

I’m having the same problem. Bought s new HR Inspire early November, the first  ten days had a sleep score and now it’s disappeared. Tried loosening band, tightening band etc.... but for the past week it just doesn’t show. Use an I-Phone which has also had an update since could this be the problem??

Any suggestions.

Feeling frustrated 😞

I have the same problem, I bought a Fitbit charge 3. I used it for a week, I got my sleep score only for one day out of six days. When I set it to sensitive for night sleep, I still had no score in the morning. Also, under that setting it correlated my movement to no sleep, instead of using heart rate patterns. So the watch thought I barely slept the whole night, which makes no sense.

Same problem here - a score on the first night and then nothing since then. Fitbit Charge 3, working just fine for everything else. This must be a reproducible bug for Fitbit by now.

What I did was remove a sleep time, then a sleep number appeared again, who knows, strange

Ok, update after 2.5 weeks of usage. I only got 2 night scores out of close to 20 nights. So it works 10% of the time for sleep metrics. Everything else works fine, but the sleep was a big reason for my purchase. Frustrating, no help here. I am probably going to write a review on Amazon to warn others...

I have the same problem. I just got a versa 2. The only thing I wanted it for was sleep and stats for the gym. Both don’t seem to be working right. I’ve had it a week. The first few nights it gave me a sleep score, graph and reports on REM, deep sleep, light sleep, then it stopped. It doesn’t give a sleep score or any info or a graph with sleep stages. It shows just a line graph of how long I slept. Very frustrating!

where did you remove the sleep time from? Is it where it asks for bedtime and wake time?

I have the same problem with Versa 2. Extremely frustrating! Chose it over Apple Watch because sleep and exercise stats were the main motivation for the purchase.

First night, Inspire HR provided sleep stage information. Second night, no detailed information. Why only a broad sleep pattern report for the second night?  There don’t seem to be other settings for more detail.

Me too! Did you fix it!

I fixed the problem by placing the Fitbit on the underside of my wrist.

This is from the fitbit site:

WHY DON'T I SEE SLEEP STAGES TODAY?

There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Same

It only works for me if I wait an hour after getting up to say that I am awake on the app but even then half the time it doesn’t show my sleep score.

Thanks
