The Inspire does not have a working bluetooth receiver.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have installed the Fitbit app on my iPhoneX with iOS 13.3 and there is no way any bluetooth connection possible with the Inspire.

I have installed the Fitbit app on my husbands iPhone 6 plus with iOS 12.4 and idem. No connection.

I can make connections with the iPhones easy with our Macintosh via bluetooth.

The Macintosh does not see the Inspire in the bluetooth discovery either.

We have done over and over the procedure to restart Inspire and iPhones in order to make bluetooth conections: No Result.

So we have to conclude that the bluetooth receiver in the Inspire is damaged. Kaputt

Hello @mhoek and a warm welcome.  I apologize if I misunderstand what you are saying.  The Inspire does not appear on the list of Bluetooth devices like looking for a wireless mouse or a speaker.  The Inspire and the iPhone communicate by Bluetooth.  But you get the process going by setting up the device in the Fitbit app.  So on your iPhone X, you open your Fitbit app and tap on your profile avatar (or picture if you have one), then tap on + Set Up a Device.  Your Inspire needs to be close by and preferably on its charger.  Follow the directions on the phone screen to complete the set up.

Hello @mhoek have you been able to setup your Inspire HR through the Fitbit app?

As @LZeeW has pointed out, a user is unable to do anything through the phones Bluetooth. At best you will see pair rejected by inspire HR.

Thanks for your answer.

The app is searching, searching, keeps on searching and then it tells you that there is no bluetooth available. Swtitched bluetooth on the iPhone off and on. With the same result. Several times.

It does not work.

Bluetooth is a stable technology. It should find and connect in a couple of seconds. I have coupled my phone to many accessories as bluetooth loudspeakers, earphones and several computers.
So I will bring the Inspire watch back.

Is the Inspire connected to your Fitbit account? IE do we have a sync or a setup issue.

The inspire has a Bluetooth Low Energy radio and can not be attached the way a Bluetooth Classic speaker can.

The user needs to use the Fitbit app to attach the Inspire to their account, then the Fitbit all will pair the Inspire to the phones Bluetooth if the app needs to. For a sync, this pairing is not needed.

You can read the help guide at https://help.fitbit.com/q=setup

Have you stopped the Fitbit app, installed this week's update?

Have you restarted both the tracker and phone? Removed the inspire from the phones Bluetooth and from any other Bluetooth device it may still be connected with?
