Hi,
I'm having trouble with my fitbit inspire, it's reasonably new - I first used it a week ago...
The screen can turn on with the button but the touch screen is completely unresponsive - so you can't change to see steps/date/distance/HR or scroll on messages or close them. It starts working again if you reset it, but quickly stops again (within an hour) making it a reasonably inpractical solution! I've reset it 3 times.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Best AnswerMy inspire hr also has an unresponsive touch screen. I've had it only for a couple weeks. Charged it today and now is not working as it was. Please let us know what we can do. Thank you.
Greetings
Doing a Fitbit restart resolved the issue for me. This is done by connecting the charger then holding the left button for 5 sec and releasing. You can google how to do this for the inspire. It took me a couple of tries to get it right, but problem hasn’t reoccurred. Hope this helps.
Thank you Thank you I had the same issue and I tried holding the button for 5 seconds and it now works. I am so pleased
Best AnswerHello, everyone!
Seems i'm not the first to experience such problems with the touchscreen.
Bought the thing (Fitbit Inspire Sangria) like a week ago and already facing the same issues described. Touchscreen becomes unresponsive after some time (ranging from 3h to 20h) after each restart.
Kindly advise if there is an easy fix for it. More on that matter - is it manageable trough any form of logical intervention or do i have to return it for physical servicing?
Regards,
Marius
Have had Fitbit Inspire HR for 3 days. Touch screen never responsive; didn't even know it was supposed to do anything until I started reading about it. Called customer service tonight, and it was declared defective. They're sending me a replacement! Hopefully the replacement will do what it's supposed to do. I'd say that Fitbit has a real problem with their Fitbits, judging by all the complaints here about the touch screens, but customer service is awesome!
I'm finding a lot of threads from others w issue but we all explain it differently. 🌻Having the same issue. Unable to swipe up or down for other options via touch screen. I would track exercise from device by swiping down to get to exercise. Then swiping through my exercises, tapping on bike or treadmill, then tapping play button to start. Device would show elapsed time etc. Would end by pressing side button, tapping, and selecting finish, then closing out from results screen.
Earlier this week device started displaying options for time/distance/intensity goal options but even when selected play button no longer worked.
This morning my device no longer even allows me to swipe down for exercise, breathing, or other options nor can I swipe up for those usual options.
I'm having this issue now, after ten months. Restarting, changing clock face, syncing. Nothing works. I've sent an email but meantime I've decided to buy a fitbit Charge 3. Hopefully better luck - but less than a year with this one so I'd like a replacement!
Same problem with my Inspire HR.
After putting it on the charger, I turned off Bluetooth on my I-Pad, then turned it on again. I had to tap on “Inspire HR” on the screen when it appeared again. It seemed to suddenly show that it was connected again (still on the I-Pad, in Settings, Bluetooth) . Then the Fitbit let me scroll on its screen again.
The battery was full.
Best AnswerHello,
I had a reply to my message and I can't find it. I've got the receipt for my purchase (Argos oin Sainsbury's, Birmingham). I bought a Charge 3 as I didn't want to wait for a new one as I'm trying to keep up my fitness during lockdown! Is like a repair or replacement though / still in warranty.
