I've made sure it was charged, I've reset multiple times, I've updated the app (iPhone, so I know it's compatible), I've uninstalled the app, I've toggled Bluetooth, I've made sure it wasn't pairing with anything else. I've even tried using the PC Windows 10 app, cleaning out files first.
I always get the same thing -- a little while after I enter the 4 digit code the Fitbit flashes a circle with an "x" in it, and the app apologizes for not syncing, or if I'm on the PC I get "an issue occurred while pairing your tracker."
This is crazy. It's less than a year old, and this has been going on for days.

Hi @Pheebers, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
If the issue persists, please send me a screenshot of the error messages you receive while trying to setup the device so I can further investigate.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.
