Walking activity removes steps

Since the update if I enter a walk as exercise my step count goes down. Yesterday my 14000 steps went to 8 after logging a long walk as exercise this is a new problem why is it happening?

Let me help you with your missing steps. When you manually log an activity it will overwrite the data recorded by your device. Try deleting the activity to see if your steps show again. You can read more about manually logged activities here.

Thank you it has but even though autoexercise is on it doesn’t seem to recognise it, for example it didn’t auto recognise a two hour walk yesterday
