Didn't see an all trackers general forum, so I'll throw this in here, not sure if there was a better place
I see in this link

There was some discussion of the 50% replacement offer sometimes offered to warranty claims not pertaining to the Ionic, as they list that as a smartwatch when the replacement offer specifies tracker. Though, in that post, the Ionic also wasn't in stock, so it may have been on the offer later, the conversation ended with that question too.
I'm wondering if the Versa would be in that offer, if one accepts a 50% replacement offer. Anyone get that offer for a tracker (charge, alta, etc) and see the proper "smartwatches" on the offer?

I had a Fitbit blaze and it was faulty. I contacted Fitbit and they offered me 50% of the value of my blaze to go towards another Fitbit device or a replacement. I decided to take the 50% offer and was able to get the versa.

Best AnswerStrange. I recently got the 40% replacement offer for my fitbit (i assume I have 40% because I live in the EU), and first they said I can use it for àll Fitbits, but later when I contacted them again to ask why I could not buu the Versa with it I was told their policy excluded the Versa.
So others have been able to buy it with the discount?

That is what I read, yes. So I do not understand why they discriminate. The Ionic is more expensive, so their 'loss' is bigger than on the Versa.
Honestly just seems down to the Versa being their best seller in a while, or at least top grossing. They have more expensive models but I almost never see them, while the Versa is in the middle and has been around.
Best AnswerAfter returning my 5th ionic, I asked to get the versa at a discount as I was over the Ionic and was told no!

The Versa replaced the Blaze so that's why you could get a discount towards that one
