50% replacement offer question

Didn't see an all trackers general forum, so I'll throw this in here, not sure if there was a better place

I see in this link

There was some discussion of the 50% replacement offer sometimes offered to warranty claims not pertaining to the Ionic, as they list that as a smartwatch when the replacement offer specifies tracker. Though, in that post, the Ionic also wasn't in stock, so it may have been on the offer later, the conversation ended with that question too.

I'm wondering if the Versa would be in that offer, if one accepts a 50% replacement offer. Anyone get that offer for a tracker (charge, alta, etc) and see the proper "smartwatches" on the offer?

3 times just went black and would not restart, twice the glass cover just separated from the body of the watch, like the adhesive just gave out. I have no luck with this watch, they keep replacing the pebble and I’m wondering if they are giving me used ones.

Update:

I still have the Blaze, works perfectly, as I said it’s my back up

That makes sense. Thanks.

So follow up question, does anyone know if this would apply to the Charge 3?

It should, since it doesn't fall into their Versa line of that not being a tracker.

I dont know, but I would guess no. Fitbit dont usually allow those offers on their newest tracker.

Maybe the Versa did replace the Blaze, but my 50% warranty offer for my broken Blaze still excludes the Versa.  So I can get a free Blaze replacement or pay to get a downgraded product.  Why in the world would anyone choose to pay downgrade?

The 2 doesn't appear to be on their store anymore, so that would be unfortunate. Excluding the Versa and 3 takes out the most interesting products.

Anyone know for sure re: the 3?

The replacement offer I received was only for 25% off, but the Charge 3 was excluded, small print below:

* This offer applies to the price of the tracker only, not tax and shipping costs.  This offer can only be applied towards one Fitbit tracker currently in stock. This offer is not applicable to Fitbit Versa, Ace or Charge 3.  This offer cannot be combined with any other offers and it cannot be transferred or resold.  This offer cannot be returned, redeemed for cash, or applied as payment on any account except where required by law.  The discount link expires 30 days after receipt.  This offer cannot be applied toward any Fitbit products that are available for pre-order only.

Yup thanks, I just got the same a while ago. Didn't end up using it alas, as the Charge 3 and the Versa were the only interesting ones to me.

I very nearly made the mistake today, accepting the 50% off. My charge 3 has an ongoing display issue (very dim). Offered replacement or 50% off. Was going to upgrade to Versa or Sense - just re-read before proceeding and these watches are exempt. A shame.

What did you go for? My charge 3 display is not working. Did you go for charge 3 again or 4?
