I have the SE version. I have no problem getting the woven band off and on. I get one of the silicone sides on no problem. The other side? The pin keeps popping out. (Yes, it’s angled, pin pressed down, I’m aware of the ridges...) I’m about to give up. Bands shouldn’t be this difficult to switch out.
Anyone else experiencing issues it is it just me? I’m wondering if it’s my Versa. Especially since I’m only having difficulty on one side. (Always the same. )

Lol no love Apple phone but found watch looks good but doesn’t live up to Fitbit it’s nice But love iPhones

I don’t know why they couldn’t of come up with a better idea than these pins it’s a dated way been and gone all that the clip on clip off were great ok it prob wouldn’t work with versa as the way it’s been made slim and more watch like but come on Fitbit need to be going forward not back otherwise walking old ground can only mean 1 thing !!!! Getting no we’re fast and wearing the sole off our shoes 🤣🤣🤣

Hi everyone. Sorry to hear that some of you are still having difficulties switching bands. Try using some tweezers when changing bands. Also remember to place the pin at a 45 degrees angle. Finally check the video in our help article. If you continue having difficulties you could let our Support team know about it so they can further assist you.

I’m just selling mine and having the Fitbit 3 I loved the Fitbit 2 easy swap bands and this looks even better so yes I’ll be selling up the versa

I can’t be bothered now messing about with it I’m selling it and going to buy the Fitbit 3 I haven’t got time or patients to be fiddling about with this I can honestly say I’ve had all from charge hr except blaze Fitbit’s ionic before versa all have been great but this one as just really got on my nerves i Even looked if they made the belt holder for it as apple now make it for there watch would of been a lot easier but hey oh thanks for all advise but I’m defeated with this now

Please note that the bands on the Charge 3 have been designed based on the feedback provided by our customers and many people have found them easier to put and take off.

Yes I had the charge 2 and loved bands and found them brilliant I was disappointed with the versa from first trying to fit bands to it however it’s the only fault it’s a lovely watch/tracker I was gutted but I’m sure charge 3 will keep me happy your welcome to feedback every comment can only help keeping things getting better and without Fitbit keep sending out replacements I’m sure prices will stay reasonable I wish people would consider this before hand as between these and apple we’ll come on a better product so worth it’s price and helpful staff and community

Good luck. I returned the 3 the day after I got it due to so many issues that I quickly found were common and not being fixed.

I’ve been trying to put this stupid band back on for about 45 minutes now. In addition to putting me in a really foul mood, I’ve managed to start workouts, change settings and do God knows what else. Next step is going be a hammer which will fix this piece of crap permanently. What kind of genius designed this **ahem** thing?

i had same problem there is a tool you can purshase off amazon to help but to be honest I had same problem loved the Fitbit Versa but defeated in the end sold it and brought charge 3 but there is lots of good advise on here to try unfortunately it didn’t work for me but may do for you good luck with it

I eventually got it but it took forever. The fallout from this struggle is that both of my thumbs and index fingers are really sore from messing around with the stupid thing. Also, I accidentally turned off my alarm while working on it so I woke up late for work this morning.

I tried to change bands a few months ago and couldn't manage it. After reading this thread I decided to have another shot at it.
I managed to get it changed fairly easily the first time today. Then, just to test it wasn't a fluke, I changed the band again. This time it took only about 30 seconds to change both parts of the band over.
Now I've got the knack I'm finding it very quick and easy. I first slip the bottom part of the clip into the slot/hole in watch, then hold down the top bit of the spring down and wiggle the band till it slots in properly, keeping it at an angle to the watch. After it all seems good, I make sure the spring gizmo is in its slot properly. (Wiggle the band again to make sure it's firmly attached to the watch.)

After 20 minutes of trying to secure the replacement rubber/plastic band I gave up. I ended up scrubbing the woven band with soap and water, dried, and it went back on literally in 30 seconds. SO frustrating. I should have just done this to start with before chipping my gel manicure. (I know, there are worse problems LOL)

I get your frustration. The bands are horrible. I have to say though Fitbit have a sale on at the moment and the classic bands are on 1/2 price at £12.99 (still expensive but better than full price) and they go on a lot easier than I have ever tried with a 3rd party!

With regard to the MIlanese loop, I purchased a Hooroor mIlanese loop and also initially had a frustrating time trying to install it on a Fitbit Versa. I then noted a review on Amazon where a member suggested first removing one of the band connectors by sliding it through the band and installing it by itself without the band. Then connect the other connector attached to the band which was not too difficult. Finally, slide the band through the first connector. This worked easily for me. To charge, slide the band out of the connector so it is attached to only one side of the watch. I realize that these 3rd party Chinese bands are of variable quality and some may have difficulty even with this method but it is worth a try. All in all, installation of a metal Milanese loop on the Versa was took significantly more time than the 2 seconds or so it took me to install an Apple milanese loop on my first generation Apple watch. Then again, the Apple band cost more than the Fitbit Versa.
