Auto tracking excercises

I just switched from my ionic to a versa 3.  The versa 3 keeps tracking a weight work outs automatically.  Middle of the night, whenever....several times a day.

Very annoying.  So far I am not impressed with this watch.

I was about to tell you how to prevent it auto-recognizing 'Weights' workout, but realized that is not one of the auto-recognized activities.  Are you sure it is Weights?

If you want to prevent any particular, or all, auto-recognized activities, on phone app, tap 'Days of Exercise' tile, then gear icon near top right.

Yep, been down that road. I wake up and I am currently doing a weight workout that started sometime during the night.

Thanks,

I'm guessing it must be doing that from the Exercise App, getting accidentally pressed during the night.  This would not fix your problem, but if Weights is the first in your list, you could try putting another type exercise on top and see if that one gets started accidentally.  That would at least verify how it is happening.

@ScottL59   I can tell you from personal experience that I have started walks in my sleep.  This comes from the sensitivity of the touch screen.  If you have a regular(-ish) sleep schedule, then you should set a Sleep Schedule on your Versa 3.  On your Versa 3, swipe left to Settings > swipe up to Quiet Modes and you can set a schedule that automatically puts you Versa 3 into Sleep Mode.  This disables the Quick View, among other things.  You won't be able to "start" an exercise in your sleep if your Quick View is disabled.  You can also put your Versa 3 in Sleep Mode manually.  Swipe to right and tap on the moon.

I love the schedule.  I have family and friends across 17 time zones.  Being in sleep mode also disables notifications.  My awake isn't their awake.

I'm having the same issue, but it's randomly starting "Workout", which is what I have set as priority, not weights.  Even spent an hour on the phone with a Fitbit rep and we got nowhere.  We reset the device, but it's still happening.  I left a Charge 3 for the Versa 3 and I'm not sure what I think just yet either!  Just wanted you to know you're not the only one with this issue.

I went on runs when I was sleeping! I have stopped wearing mine because of this issue. I wondered of the side 'switch' keep getting triggered by movement.
