Automatic Lap settings not being maintained

So, preemptively:

Yes, I'm on the latest firmware. (Versa 2 Firmware version 35.70.7.21).

Yes, I've factory reset it.
Yes, I've looked at every setting in the app and on the watch itself. And I've tried, for months, tweaking one setting per day to make this not happen.
Yes, I've tried giving up on the automatic lap thing altogether, but I really *like* being alerted each mile.

THAT out of the way, here's the problem.

So, every morning, I wake up, I head out to take a walk. I swipe left, tap "Exercise", select "walk", and this is where my problems start. Every day, I have to hit the cog, go into "Automatic Lap Settings", click "Lap Every", and select "1 mile", because, every day, it goes back to five miles. Every. Single. Day. This irritates the hell out of me. If I disable automatic lap settings, go for my walk, and then turn it on the *NEXT* day, it'll default to 0.5 miles. But, if I walk with that, and go out the next morning - yep, five miles. First of all, I don't know any walkers to whom five miles is a single lap, but please, for the love of all that is good and right in the universe, make it retain the settings from one day to the next. Or, if it *must* default to a lap value that nobody is picking, either select 1/2 or 1 mile.

@MikeSimone do you have a question that we may be able to help with?

So, I guess the question is, "will you pretty please fix this bug in the next release?" I thought this is where we go to report bugs.

That would be a question for the developers, I'm not sure, but most in the community are simply Fitbit users, like you and I.

I have the same problem. This is ridiculous. Before I got the Versa I used a free app on my phone that could call out my mile and splits. It seems ridiculous that Fitbit doesn’t have a solution for this and that SOME user has figured it out. This issue is enough to make me think I should have gotten the Apple Watch instead.

I agree this is very frustrating!! Hoping they fix this soon. If this isn’t the best place to report bugs, where do we submit issues such as this?
