Hi Folks,

From factory reset to cleaning out the contacts, I've tried everything available online, and still Versa 3 not will take a charge!

"Not Charging - Your Fitbit device is below operating temperature. Warm it up to resume charging"

I've also taken a hot shower, to increase temp, then dried and tried to charge.

Any help much appreciated

Thanks @SunsetRunner, I've contacted them via twitter, fingers crossed they can get it fixed, lost a few days worth of vital stats while travelling.

Looks like a replacement device is been shipped out, really hope this one lasts. Posting pic of error message before the lights finally went out!

Did they make you wait until it completely died before doing anything for you? Mine is doing the same and was told to let it die.  Then try to charge it. If that doesn’t work call back and we’ll go to warranty.

Hi @Raramar2 ,

I thought I'd replied back to you but it obviously didn't send.

I'd advise to try the steps in this video before the device dies. Video Here!

Do take pics of any error messages, and contact fitbit support after trying steps in the video, or when device won't pwr on anymore.

Good luck@Raramar2

Hello again @Zimmermane 😃 That’s good advice. Please consider marking my post above (suggesting to contact Fitbit Customer Service) as best answer. Doing so will help others who are facing similar issue of operating temperature warnings on their Fitbit clock face. I’d appreciate it. Enjoy your weekend.

Thank you! I did try that several times yesterday with Fitbit help person. I also cleaned connections with alcohol. It was at 7% while trying all this. Battery depleted quickly. The girl told me to let it die and call back to go to warranty. The Fitbit is 3 years old, I don’t think they will replace it. Thank you very much for reaching out with help.
