How do you make your Fitbit versa brighter

From clock face, scroll right (swipe left) until get to 'Settings'; tap that and I think at the top is 'Brightness'; tap to switch among Dim, Normal, or Max.  I think Normal automatically adjusts to ambient light level.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

From settings I go to brightness which shows DIM, I tap on DIM to make brighter but nothing happens

Selecting "DIM" makes it dim.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
