Calories burnt while weight lifting

So I got my Versa yesterday after using the old charge HR for more than 4 years and I used it to track my weight lifting workout this morning.

I worked out for about 1 hr and 30 minutes putting the weights mode but i actually did abs and a bit of warm up too.... It told me I burnt more than 700Kcal which seems too much also cause a similar workout tracked with my charge would have told me at least 200Kcal less.

Maybe I was supposed to use another workout mode?

Also my BMR is accurate and all the other informations too.

Any advice?

Let me help you with your calorie burn calculation. Please check your personal informational on your account. On your device try using the workout mode or a more specific one that can reflect the exercise that you are doing. Try this and see how it calculates your calories burned.
