HELP! I’ve updated my Fitbit but there’s certain apps I can’t install as it says “Please Check Your Device Is Up To Date” any ideas why it won’t download the Spo2 clock face ?

Hi there, @CraigGintyUK. Welcome to the Community Forums.

By "updated" you mean you've set up your Versa 2? If you have, please note your watch may appear up to date but it needs another update. The latest update isn't available until up to 48 hours after setup. For more information, see How do I update my Fitbit device?

Hope this clarifies your inquiry.

Hello @MarreFitbit  thank you so much for getting back to me, so do I have to wait 48 hours to receive a new update as I only bought it yesterday and I really want the new Spo2 clock face, will I be able to get it as it is showing up on my account but the install button is grey and won’t let me press it ☺️

Best Answer

@CraigGintyUK Yes, you'll. 🙂

However, keep in mind that the SpO2 clock faces are only available in certain countries at this time. If you don’t see them in the Clock Face Gallery, the feature isn’t available in your region. For more information on the availability of Fitbit SpO2, see fitbit.com.

Nevertheless, as I mentioned in my earlier post, if you do see the SpO2 but the button to download is still grey, you'll need to make sure you update your watch to run the latest version of Fitbit OS. For instructions, see How do I update my Fitbit device? and How do I track blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) with my Fitbit device?

The Spo2 clock should be available as I am in the UK, so do I have to wait until it has been 48 hours to update properly and then I should be able to get the clock face ? ☺️

@CraigGintyUK That's correct!  And thanks for confirming that you're located in a country where the SpO2 feature is permitted.

Have a nice day! 🙂
