Can't log into the Fitbit app on Android

I have android (galaxy 9+) I downloaded the app was working to set u everything, now I try and log in says error not valid password or email, everything is correct. It logs on to my online dashboard.

This has been frustrating to say the least, if not resolved just going to return it. Yes I restarted phone etc.. This is not my first smartwatch.

The previous response was for a different user. The reply even states the username of the person it was addressed to so please don't worry about the updates on this thread.
