I am having the same issue and I have an LG Q7. However, it does sync on my Samsung tablet .I have a coworkers who also has the Versa and has problems with hers connecting to her Iphone.
I think I might return it since I barely bought it.

Unfortunately, both of those phones don't show on the list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices
This could mean that they have been tested and shown to not work (or not work consistently) or it could just mean that they haven't yet been tested.
If you can't set it up at all then it's probably not going to work. If it has gotten through the setup but has stopped syncing then it's worth trying the usual troubleshooting steps:

What finally worked for me to remove all devices. Then I created a new Fitbit account.
Unfortunately it never synced to my previous account so I lost all my badges. It has been 3 days since I created the new account and it has been working well.
