Hi,
I've purchased the Versa special edition today in India. While setting up Spotify, I realized that the firmware was old even though the manufacturing date shows up as September 2020. The firmware version is 32.33.1.30 on my Versa. The app in my oneplus 8 is the latest one on the play store. On checking for the latest version, I realized that 32.68 series updates had been rolled out back in 2019 itself. So I wonder why a fitbit manufactured in September 2020 has an older version and further so why can't I find the new update ?!
Please help. I cannot help being disappointed at the fact that my new fitbit feels old and faulty on day 1.

Hi there @Sangewar7, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties to update your new Versa SE to the latest version, I understand why you must be feeling disappointed. Thanks for the details shared in your post, I'll be glad to help you.
Since you have just setup your Versa SE it may appear up to date but it needs another update before you can install the Spotify app. The latest update isn't available until up to 48 hours after setup.
Please keep me posted if after the 48 hours you're still not receiving the most recent version of your watch.

I am having the same issue. I bought Fitbit versa 2 in India. I can’t find any update on the app. I even connected watch to wifi while charging, still no update. I am talking about the latest update which enables spo2 clock face. Regards

I'm the same. Just bought my new Versa watch. Can't download many apps because it says I must update my watch to the latest firmware. However, there is nothing to update, as my Fitbit app says it's all up to date. Just for the records I have the latest Fitbit app on the play store, downloaded yesterday! This is very frustrating. Help please !

I'm having a similar issue with my Versa. I haven't used it for a few months, yesterday I charged it again and wanted to update some settings. I noticed that the firmware is not compatible with e.g. Spotify and the agenda-app I used to sync with. It keeps telling me I need to update. I have no idea how I can fix this...

I don't understand, why we have to wait 48h to be able to install the latest version. I have already waited 5 days for the watch to arrive and now 2 more days for the latest version and still not sure, if it would work. I mean, we don't get any discount for the waiting time either, do we?? Could you clarify, why we have to wait so long?
