Cannot remove friend

Cannot remove friend from Versa 2 - trying to remove kid/friend and not only have duplicate account setups but cannot delete.  Same issues as I see others having "Report Profile" option / no remove option via phone and then I get an error via website when I hit Remove Friend.  Please help.

I'll be happy to help you removing your friend from your Fitbit account. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried. 

I would like you to confirm you're doing this procedure to remove a friend from your account: 

1. Tap the Today tab  , and tap your profile picture. 
2. Tap your name and scroll to see your friends.
3. Tap View All Friends, then tap the friend you want to delete or block.
4. On their profile, tap the three dots.
   • To remove the friend, tap Remove Friend.
   • To block a friend, tap Block User.
