Changing bands on Versa

I like to change bands and find that I am wrecking my nails with the pins.  Is there a tool that would be helpful in doing this?

I liked that the Blaze had a frame so I didn’t need to bother with the pins

I have 2 bands that are easy and broke one of the pins with a silicone band. Ordered another from a different seller on Amazon and.....yep you guessed it. I can't get this band in either!   😕

I have a few bands that I can now change without much problem but I have a few that the pins will not go in and therefore can’t use. This is frustrating.  In my opinion biggest flaw of the Versa

My pin popped on mine today. Only had this versa 3 months. My battery would
only charge to 95% today. Nice watch, high price for little reward.

The button on my pin popped today. I have only had this Versa for 3 months and now my battery has started to only charge to 95%. Nice watch style poor execution, very poor product.

Have you contacted Fit Bit support?

They are very good about helps with any problem you have.  I’ve had questions on mine and they were very helpful. They did listen to me with changing of bands and referred me to this site to get advise from others.

Your Versa may still be under warranty so definitely contact them

Good luck

I agree! Love it otherwise. Big downer now that I'm out for 2 bands now!

After about 4 hours of trying and breaking my nails, I finally figured it out. You need to hold the strap at almost 90 degrees to the Fitbit. The band is not supposed to lay flat or flush but curved. I couldn't get the straps on the first 50 times because I kept trying to insert the straps at 45 degrees. Insert the pin at almost 90 degrees and tada!Versa

My finger is so sore after trying to change bands earlier. I like this tracker but, changing the bands is so painful!! Should not be that hard.

I found that the more expensive the band, the better built the pin
mechanism, the easier the band is to change.

Yea, I can believe that. I had bought 2 off of amazon. They were not that much money. It took me like an hour to get that pin to fit. I gave up a few times, and wanted to throw the versa. It finally went in, I have a feeling it will not take much for it to come out. It is kinda hanging on. Hoping it stays in place.

I had a horrible time changing bands too but found out it's all in the angle of the strap. You have to hold the band almost at a 90 degree angle from the watch and it will pop in. Once the strap is popped in, it will not lay flat, but that is the way it's supposed to be. Hope that helps

Just got a replacement Versa & had to put my band from my old versa on it. Struggled at first then read some community tips. Someone suggested a hair clip. I found a Bobby pin did the trick. Also watched video & realized I was pressing down instead of towards the middle. Once I used the bobby pin & pushed it the right way it came off & on easily.
