Oh, thank you so much. If my phone is not in the list that means I can't use the email notification function......Hence it's not the problem with my fitbit versa...It's about my phone compatibility...It's really sad.
Best AnswerHere is something from a moderator who posted about phones and compatibility:
"Please note that your phone or tablet is not on our list of compatible devices. We confirmed that the devices on this list are fully compatible with all features of Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app. While a phone or tablet may not be verified as fully compatible, the Fitbit app may still work with your device.
We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models. Be sure to verify that your phone or tablet meets the minimum operating system requirements.
If your phone supports Bluetooth 4.0, we provide assistance and troubleshooting steps. Because your phone or tablet is not fully compatible with Fitbit devices, we can't guarantee syncing and other Fitbit features. "
I have a Samsung S4 and while it doesn't work entirely, it does function a bit. I use a S8 daily and the S4 is my back up phone.
Best AnswerHello,
Thank you so much for the reply. My phone has the following specifications:
Operating System: Android 8.1 (Oreo)
Bluetooth: (4.2 BLE)
It's still not working. There have been quite a lot of posts about the notification issues.......Do you know are there any 'physical stores' in Sydney that we can bring our fitbit together our phone to check the notification issues?
Thank you so much!
Best AnswerThere is no physical store to go to and have them look at it. The problem with phones is that there are so many variations on the Android (and iOS) systems. My system 8.1 does give me notifications of texts, but calls are hit or miss. They do update the app now and again which may help you.
