Why is this now available on only some Charge 3 and Versas?

It seems mine is now coming and going - some mornings its there and then it disappears ............ unless Fitbit comment we can only assume this is teething problems before it is rolled out to all??

Ok thanks for that I’m currently waiting for a response from Fitbit support
about if / when I would get it as it says if you have a charge 3 then info
should be available

I complained about this months ago. Why doesnr everyone have the feature. If it started rolling out a month ago we should all have it by now. Total Bs.

Well I’ve been emailing Fitbit support about this asi have the charge 3 and
he says an update will be out in 2020 so depending on the device peaple has
they might get it and also I suffer from C.O.P.D and my sleeping pattern I
all over the place that’s why I purchased this a month ago

Well I guess we will have to wait....I think it will come available when they bring out there new Fitbit watch meaning peaple who have had this sensor for awhile now basically it’s just a pretty light to see and a waste of time lol

From a Business Insider article dated today:

”The company said it began providing the feature to a small number of users, but that all Fitbit owners with a device that supports blood oxygen monitoring would be able to access these statistics by the end of the month.“

Interesting if true. That means we should all have it soon. We’ll see. But why do I have to learn this from news articles instead of Fitbit just responding on here and saying it will be available to everyone by the end of January. Very frustrating.

You have my vote there it’s so frustrating I mean I only got mine a month ago some peaple like yourself have had to wait ages and they did roll it out for a number of beta testers when it first came out then stopped it but there should be a Fitbit monthly to keep everyone upto date I think

What I find frustrating is I don't see the articles talking about how long this non-sense has been going on and how the company has mostly kept us all in the dark about it.

I'll be happy with a simple graph yes, but I certainly expect a lot more to come at this point with the amount of time it has taken them just to decide to release something that was suppose to be a feature originally.  I also hope they plan on letting us access the data for more than just when we're asleep.  *Fingers crossed*

Agree to all regarding the rollout. I confess, I wasn't aware of the spo2 feature until a gal at work showed me hers. I've not faced the frustration of waiting months, but now that I know it was limited to random user, well it just doesn't sit well. The watches I've had are good at what they do for the most part, so it's just another exercise in patience. Will be pleased for the added info for sure!!

It's all focused on posts on Reddit and external news sites, are there more forum users who can show app images of the new feature? And yes I agree there should be a post from Fitbit about the roll out.

For those who have it how does it work.  Is there a setting.  Or an app you must add to the fitbit.  I got the versa 2 from costco 139.99 50 off until 19th this sunday.  How will I know when I have it.

When you look at the back of a Fitbit, you may see green light flashing -
that's used for heart rate. If you see red light, O2 sensing has been
turned on - at least for the moment.

Just make sure you are running the lastest Fitbit Software on your Phone - and on the Versa Smartwatch.

To check if SpO2 has arrived on your device, tap the Sleep Icon in the Fitbit Dashboard and then tap the lastest day where Sleep data has been recorded. You should see the SpO2 Chart at the end of the Page. If you do not see it, just be patient. According to a Business Insider Article, all Customers should have it by the end of January.

Until Fitbit release the update to the Fitbit app then you won’t be able to
see it but Fitbit support said there’s an update coming out this year but
make sure your versa 2 has the blood oxygen sensor
