Fitbit Update 8/23/18:
Hey, everyone! Just wanted to thank you all for your participation in this thread.
Since the majority of Versa users have successfully updated to OS 2.1.1 (v32.32.10.15) I have decided to close this topic from further comments.
If you still have not updated your Versa to OS 2.1.1, check out this help article for how to update your device. Please complete this update so that you're prepared for the next release.
If you are experiencing an issue with your Versa unrelated to the firmware-up process, I invite you to start a new topic on the Community or find a related topic.

Fitbit Update 05/11/2018: We have released Fitbit OS 2.1 to 100% of Versa users (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15).
Hi, everyone!
I am excited to announce the release of Fitbit OS 2.1! (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15)
We've started to roll out this update to 10% of Versa users. This is a progressive rollout, and all Versa users can expect to have it within a few weeks. We roll out releases in phases as a cautionary measure so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed.
WHAT’S NEW
Introducing quick replies. Send customized responses to text messages and messages from select messaging apps with your Fitbit watch. Note that this feature is currently only available on watches paired to an Android phone. For more information, see How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit watch?
WHAT’S FIXED
This release includes other bug fixes and improvements.
Step by step instructions for updating your Versa can be found here.
I recommend updating your Versa over a home Wi-Fi network as this can greatly reduce the time it can take to get set up. For more information on connecting your Versa to Wi-Fi, check out this article.
If you run into any trouble updating your Versa, I can also recommend reviewing these troubleshooting tips.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on the latest release. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

I guess I was looking at the app. Not the watch. I haven’t messed with the customized stats on the watch as of yet.

I just checked. The customized stats do not stick through a sync. I unchecked heart rate. Backed out. Then synced. I checked the customized stat again and heart rate was back.

@Bobled Thanks so much for confirming! Let's see if @AlessFitbit has an explanation.

If I change the top or bottom stat it sticks. But the middle stat won’t stick through a sync.

@Bobled Oh, well that would be enough for me. But it would be nice if they'd just fix the problem. Thanks again!

Maybe release 72.

I apparently don't even rate 20, what's this about 72?

I just made it up. If we are at 15 or 20 now. By release 72 some of these things should be fixed.
Seriously. Mine is pretty stable. Battery life is great. Maybe a little wonky with notifications and Gps syncing. But I can deal with it.

Yeah, honestly, the only problems I have are the customized stats not saving and I sometimes have to try a few times to force a sync. The background sync seems to work pretty well, even though I spent lots of time out of range of my phone. I just wish Fitbit showed more interest in fixing bugs. I had a One for a while that would randomly crash sometimes, usually in the middle of sleeping or another activity. When it did that, it would forget the entire activity. I called support and they'd send me replacements, which also crashed. Again, clearly I'm the problem here.

When will the women's health tracker be available?

I received the update on Saturday, 12. Everything went fine and I also edit the notifications reply. I just once, managed to receive a phone call and answered it by pressing the watch. After this only and first time, if I do not pick a phone call I only receive a notification of a missed call, but the phone call is not recognized ( as of the caller id). Any ideas of how I fix this?

I don't understand how this whole answering a call with your watch that has neither microphone nor speaker works. I like that I can reject a call with my Versa. I would answer a call with my phone.

No expert here, but I assume you would be wearing wireless headphones connected to the versa.

Ahhh! I'm really old and don't understand how this stuff works. I guess your headset would have to connect to Versa and your phone. That makes sense now. Thanks!

Yea. I don’t get the notifications thing when your phone is 10 feet away. Or in your pocket. Oh well guess I am old too.

Ah, but I can now dismiss the notification - mostly just updates from Amazon on stuff I bought - without pulling my phone out. Laziness, I get.

The notifications thing is a convenience for me. There are many times when I have my phone with me, but not in my face, and a text/phone call may alter my plans.
For example, if I’m sitting in a rehearsal with my hands full of instrument and music, it’s much more convenient to look at my watch when it buzzes to see if I got a text indicating I need to leave.
I’m training for a marathon and some of my long runs are, well, long. I have my phone tucked away, but again, it’s far more convenient to look at a buzzing watch to see if something has happened at home or if I need to dig the phone out to answer the call (or answer at all) versus randomly digging out the phone every so often and/or running with the phone in my hand.

I received the update last night and my Versa has not and will not sync since. I've rebooted my phone several times, I've turned bluetooth on / off several times and I've closed in and out of the app. Getting annoyed.

Sadly, neither version (32.32.10.15 or 32.32.10.20) fix the connectivity issues plaguing the Versa; it does not work consistently, then it does every once in a while, and then it does not work again. My phone (Motorola Droid Turbo/XT1254) and the Versa (black/black) result in short lived connectivity (at best). My Versa is "Found!" during setup, but rarely goes any further without getting the perfect sequence. A sequence to get it working that seems to be different every time. A sequence that has reboots, resets, restarts, force closes, uninstalls/reinstalls, disabled/enabled wifi and bluetooth, and holding Versa buttons.
I am another that wants to love the Versa, but in its current state, am very disappointed.

I have exactly the same problem. Sync problems before the update seemed to have resolved themselves (don't know how) but.now no sync all day
Success! After 3rd/4th reboot of Versa and simultaneous reboot of phone (Samsung S8) seem to have achieved sync - let's hope it keeps going now!
