Fitbit Versa 2 not tracking exercise properly

I got a fitbit Versa 2 and it was working wonderfully. The past week and half it has stopped Automatically tracking and logging my exercises properly and will not fully sync when I log a work out manually (syncing heart rate and calories burned with logged workouts). It used to sync up or track automatically. I have tried restarting to watch, and that did not work. I can see that it still tracks my heart rate and shows the spikes that occur during my work outs when I open the heart rate graphs on the app. However in the logged work out it says not enough data available. Any suggestions one how to fix this problem?

Surprised the issue has been going on this long and has not been addressed. Same is happening with my Versa 2.  Shows my active minutes but not adding it to my exercise tracking.  Still saying I have five days left this week instead of the four it should show.

Fitbit customer service doesnt even understand the problem yet. Ive sent them screen shot of the issue at least 3 times. they respond with ridiculous suggestions that arent relative to the issue. Dont know what else to do! Its frustrating!

Totally ridiculous.  I have been emailing Fitbit customer service since May about these issues and they keep telling me they are working on it.  It's August!   It's a simple app that a programmer should be able to fix.   I will not buy another Fitbit.

They just updated the app to track exercise differently but the daily tracker still isnt tracking the days correctly. ☹️

Great so now the map is missing from the exercise tracking. They made it worse. I had to delete the entire app and start over to make it work after the update if that helps anyone. Otherwise it was frozen. Solid!

I am finally trying to put my Versa 2 to use with some workouts and noticed it’s not auto tracking for me either. Hope this is fixed soon.

Is there any way to add workouts to the weekly count?? I'm having the same issue & tried to add a workout because my Versa 2 didn't record it but I don't know where to add it.
