Fitbit Versa 2 understating miles

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit Versa 2 always understates miles logged on both runs & walks both on treadmill & outdoors. I’ve even changed to GPS tracking on runs and it is logging about half the distance. I have walked the same route as I run and will get different mileage. Is there anyway to fix this short of manually recalibration of stride length? I am unable to edit mileage in the edit exercise view.

@BradB3 Thanks for stopping by! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Versa 2 under-counting the distance detected by it. Your device uses the number of steps and stride length to calculate the distance. You can improve the accuracy by measuring and logging your stride length. Feel free to use these instructions to do this.

Let me know how it goes.
