Fitbit Versa Lite screen not working!

I got a Versa Lite at Christmas and had no issues with it.  Recently, I have started running and wanted to track distances and times.  I cannot swipe the watch at all, whether to get messages, stats, apps or anything. when I hold the button to select shortcut, I can't tap on exercise to make running a shortcut.  I have held button for 10 seconds to restart it but as I can't get to the settings to do anything else.  As a teacher in the UK currently, and still in school, I could really do with it working as I am able to read notifications and get updates whilst not having my phone out to ensure no germs get on it.  Any ideas gratefully received!

@Jollieted So regular reboot does not resolve the issue? You can attempt hard reset using button (this will erase the data from Versa):

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

You can set up the watch back to the Fitbit account by following the instructions on this link: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

If you're not successful with the factory reset, I am afraid you will need to reach out to Customer Support to guide you through the next steps. Here's the link to Customer Support page. Your versa should still be under warranty.
