Fitbit Versa text notifications not working after software update

My fitbit Versa stopped receiving text notifications after I did the software update (about a month ago).

I've tried emailing fitbit and did all of the suggested solutions they asked me to do. Everything from restarting the app/ phone/ fitbit to uninstalling fitbit and giving the app notification permissions etc. My fitbit versa is still only showing notifications when I manually check and does not have a pop up or vibrate when I get texts or other app notifications. The strange thing is that the versa notification only works for calls and if I do the testing call through the fitbit app.

I hope fitbit finds a solution soon.

Hi everyone 

I just got Fitbit versa. Somehow I can’t receive what’s app notifications on Fitbit. Although what’s app notifications tab is on in Fitbit and also on my iPhone. I can receive text messages though.

please guide.

@JuanJoFitbit is there an update on this issue?  My Versa stopped receiving text notifications two days ago.  I have tried all the troubleshooting steps.  It is imperative I am able to receive text notifications on my Versa. 

I receive all other notifications from my apps (facebook, calendar, etc.)

I would like to know also. We all should be upgraded to a better Fitbit, if it can not be resolve. I only used mine for 4 days. Customer service is really lacking here.

@JuanJoFitbit  you know what nevermind. I've decided to move on the Samsung Galaxy Active2. Bye Fitbit I would like to say it's been a great 4 years but....

Me too. Can’t believe they can’t get their act together on this. Got a burned on my arm from one Fitbit product. But went back to another one, cause I love to know stats. And I really couldn’t afford any other product. I’m saving for a Apple Watch . Hope I hit the lottery soon.

I have the same problem.  Today I was at the Apple store and after about 30 minutes of troubleshooting they could not fix this problem.  I'm sending my Versa back.
