Fitbit pay never works

Hi

I have linked my bank card (Santander debit card) to the device but everytime I try to use contactless payment with my fitbit versa, it never works and just asked me to insert my card instead.

I have tried to reboot my fitbit and also link my card again. Nothing works.

Can someone please help?

My actual card seems to work though? Would it be Santander's problem?

It's possible that Santander needs to activate something on their end for Fitbit Pay to work with your card.

I did get an online banking message from them saying 'I'm now set up to use
fitbit pay and i can now pay with my watch' so I doubt it will be
Santander's problem?
I have also dropped them a message will see what they say but I hope
someone from fitbit side can look into it as well.

I also had a problem with Fitbit Pay not working, in my case it was the bank that needed a new copy of my ID.

Contacted the bank they said my FitBit is registered on their digital card system.

This means that I should not have any issues in using it.

 

Looks like it's the watch's problem. 

Can someone please help?
