Hi @Natalieko, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since the screen shows fuzzy lines and it won't respond.
Please restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, monitor your watch and see if the screen stops showing the fuzzy lines.
Keep me posted on the outcome.
Best Answerthe same thing has happened to me !!
my fitbit versa screen has completely disappeared and occasionally comes back all staticky.. it has been like this for a week and a half now. I have restarted and factory restarted mine but still has the same issue.
I also have the same issue with my Fitbit Versa 2.
Watch is only a few months old.
The issue started yesterday, stright after updating device.
Tried the following:-
shutdown several times.
Reset factory settings
Reinstall update
Any other suggestions?
Yeah, this is the SECOND Versa 2 that has corrupted like this. First one turned into a white static screen, and eventually, support replaced the watch. That one was less than three months old. This replacement, less than three months, and now the screen will display and dissolve into static. Just getting worse with forced reboots. It still will synch with my phone. Running firmware version 70.8.0; update has not been offered. Really very aggravated.
Hi natalieko,
I recently had this issue where it looked like my moms old tv. I let the battery die and didnt touch it for 2 days. Then i put it on the charger seemed to fix the issue today. Hopefully this helps you and anyone else looking at this form for answers.
Sincerely,
Kathryn
Best AnswerI am having the same issue. The screen became intermittently responsive a few days ago. Now, static. I have reset amd now hard reset and that hasn't worked. HELP!!

Best AnswerMy watch started doing the exact same thing yesterday after the update. I have restarted it several times and each time it will clear up for about 20 mins then goes fuzzy again
I actually walked away and went to bed and the next morning, it cleared up and I haven't had an issue since.
Best AnswerI am having the same issue. It started today. This was a Christmas gift almost a year ago. My Fitbit Ionic lasted much longer. I dont know if they are making these watches too bad but if this goes out, it wont be replaced. I'm leaving fitbit for good.

@unhappy11 Thank you for participating in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry about the screen issue that your Fitbit Versa experienced. I'm also sorry to hear that it's no longer under warranty. The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of the first setup.
I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.
Best AnswerRebooted mine last night, same issue still happening. I’m still under warranty as I only bought it 7 months ago. Should I take it back & Will I just end up with the same issue again???

This happened to me aswell. I’m leaving for a trip tommorow and was packing when I hit my Versa 2 against my moms metal Apple Watch band accidentally and suddenly there’s these weird lines. Any suggestions?
Doesn’t matter who you go with, people always have issues with their smart watches, even this static issue happens with apple watches as well. Screens come off the Apple Watch. They all have issues a lot of the same kind of issues, if you want to switch to another brand no one can blame you, but do your research on the issues on other watches as well.
