Has anyone ordered a rose gold/peach and have it arrive already? I don't know if I should order from Fitbit and have it come April 13-20 or Best Buy and have it come on April 16th... And I really can't wait!

@aharvey0812: I totally believe you. So frustrated. The customer service rep told me your post has been flagged by the "proper department" because you didn't order through Fitbit.com (suggesting your post is incorrect/misleading). 

 

I ordered the Charcoal SE on 3/30 in Virginia (technically on 3/26, but I wasn't allowed to change my model choice on my existing order so had to re-order entirely). So I'm really confused why your order has shipped & mine is sitting still.

 

My card was charged at 9 p.m. last night; I chatted Amex just to make sure nothing is wrong on that end & they said they have cleared the charge, but that it won't change from "pending" to "processed" until the vendor (aka Fitbit) claims the charge.

@nmo9 Wonder if they flagged it because I ordered under a different email? They are probably trying to find my order and can't because I use different emails for "accounts" vs "ordering" vs "social media" etc

I ordered the charcoal SE on March 17th and my credit card was charged yesterday but my order hasn't shipped yet.  Kind of frustrating that orders placed yesterday have already shipped.

@valmoisy, that's my exact frustration right now. And then when I chatted customer service asking why this is the case, they claimed that @aharvey0812's post is misleading (saying that she did not order through Fitbit & that the Charcoal model will not be shipping until 1-2 weeks from now). No ill-will towards aharvey0812 (or anyone else who has had their order shipped), I'm just frustrated at the inconsistency with customer service.

Yeah, I know but some people are getting theirs faster than others even if they ordered before them. I canceled my order because I was sick of the lack of information I was getting on my package and I waited forever. I also heard some people complaining about theirs not shipping yet when they purchased it on 3-13. Wish I waited another day though. @WavyDavey thank you!

@nmo9 @aharvey0812, not trying to call the person you talked to a liar but Fitbit is the only store that should have and be able to ship products before April 16th because if it wasn't many more people would've had theirs already. That's why I don't know why the person you were talking to said @aharvey0812 ordered it from another store because they aren't even supposed to have it yet...

 

Sorry, this is really off-topic but you don't have any tax? I wish I lived there!!! I have to pay $17 for tax!

Maybe whoever was carrying the order slips fell and got them all out of order, I dunno. Honestly, like I said before the reason I didn't order expedited is because I thought they wouldn't start shipping for 1-2 weeks. This was a surprise to me.

Successful time-tested strategy for pre-ordering a Fitbit product:

1. Place order from Fitbit as soon as possible after product is announced.

2. Place order for same product from Amazon or other reliable retailer as soon as possible.

3. Sit back, relax, and see who ships first.

4. Cancel other order.

5. Enjoy your new Fitbit product.

@sarah_lin8Ya know.. I wondered about that too when I saw it. But I checked back when I ordered my current Fitbit and I didn't have tax then either. Not sure how that works. Not like they don't have sales tax where I live.

 

Also.. $17 in tax? That's outrageous...

 

It was Graphite SE the date I ordered was 4/4/2018 its in both the pics I posted.

Ordered mine 3/30 and will arrive. Monday April 9. I just had them ship regular mail to WI. I ordered the Special with the dark mesh.

@sarah_lin8: Oh trust me, I know. I didn't want to get in an argument so I didn't even raise that issue with the rep, but I was certainly thinking it. All I wanted was confirmation that they're not going to claim the issue was on my end with the payment. Still not 100% sure what the deal is so I'll keep my fingers crossed that I get an update in the next 24 hours.

@WIUpnorth — when did you get your shipping confirmation? I ordered the same day for the Charcoal SE in Virginia with expedited shipping. Haven't gotten a notification yet but my order has been processing for 24 hours.

I ordered the 30th of March the charcoal. It was processed April 4th and I received notification today April  5  that the Versa was shipped and will arrive Monday via Fed ex. I did regular shipping. I live in WI.

You guys should really just ask Fitbit a simple question: Does Expedited Shipping affect order processing time (move you to the front of the queue, etc) or just the shipping method. Pretty sure it's just the shipping method. In which case Fitbit can ship orders willy nilly so long as once they ship they only take the amount of time promised by the selected shipping method. I tried to find a shipping FAQ but didn't see one.

How is sales tax determined?

Fitbit charges the appropriate state and local sales tax in locations where we have legal obligations to do so, as determined by the shipping address. Tax will also be applied to shipping and handling charges if required. Fitbit currently collects sales tax from the following states: California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.

I think it depends where it's being shipped. If I'm correct I believe my Ionic was shipped from somewhere in the mid West and I live in WI so I think I am getting my quicker based on where it's coming from. If I paid to ship quicker I think I would of gotten Friday or Sat. rather then Monday.
