Has anyone ordered a rose gold/peach and have it arrive already? I don't know if I should order from Fitbit and have it come April 13-20 or Best Buy and have it come on April 16th... And I really can't wait!

The rose gold always had a later shipping date. I wonder if there is a problem with production or was there a greater demand then they thought. It would be nice if they were upfront as to why the delay or how this ordering and shipping works. All they need to do is write up a statement on the community board. It would be a lot less phone calls for their representatives.

When I ordered, they all showed 3-4 weeks. I agree though, this would be more understandable if they would just go ahead and say "we got more orders than we thought and we're working on it" or whatever the case is instead of giving various accounts for the same issue. At this point, what was the purpose of preordering if you aren't going to receive it until after retailers sell it in stores? Just poor management imo

I agree that pre orders should receive theirs first. After a certain date all pre orders should be cut off and then after the all the pre orders receive theirs then allow the vendors to sell.

So the store now says they're doing back orders, seems like preorders are closed now. Does anyone know if when I still ordered while it said preorder (3rd April) if that means I'll still get it asap? I changed my shipping to expedited the next day via support.  I ordered silver which should restock shortly. I'm european.

The release day is the 16th. Honestly if we get it sooner that's great. People need to be patient. Who cares who gets theirs first. Just calm down. You ordered one. You'll get it soon. They are probably dealing with thousands of people calling asking about this and the customer service reps don't even deal with the warehouse. It will be there when Fed ex or whoever drops it off at your door.

Ok, so customer service have just told me they can confirm the rose gold is on back order and will be shipped in two to three weeks!

Update...my Versa has made it to Kentucky on its way to Georgia - estimated delivery is tomorrow!

Yup!  I ordered the peach/rose gold Versa March 25. Credit card charged Tuesday evening. Shipping confirmation and tracking number for Canada post by Wednesday afternoon.  Say it was shipped April 4th - delivery date for April 12th.  Impatiently waiting and hoping it'll be sooner.

I was going to do that but the stores are also taking pre orders and I’m sure they will all get a certain amount so I was afraid the stores would run out quickly...I really think this is going to be a big seller in the stores....good luck

Its strange... i didnt pay the extra shipping so I'm not sure if expedited is just a fancy word for regular mail. Seems strange that expedited would take a full week to arrive.  

 

It's beyond upsetting thst it doesn't seem to have any pattern as to orders being shipped out in the order they were received  😔.      I read that Canada has a warehouse, the US does (2 maybe?)  And the UK has one.    Hopefully you'll get notification asap and have yours on its way asap!   Could be lower stock in Canada for data on colors ?

@Ballkim4790: I think my main issue is that customer service has been very inconsistent with their information. If they're getting thousands of calls/chats asking about the shipping process, that should probably be communicated to the management team so they can come up with a coherent, consistent response to these questions. I don't think telling each customer something different is a good solution.

 

I was told that orders will be processed & shipped in the order they were received. It's becoming clear that this is not how they're handling the orders.

 

Beyond the miscommunication issue, I'm really only upset because I don't want to pay extra for expedited shipping only to receive my order after others who placed their orders within the last 48 hours (with free shipping). If they refund my expedited shipping, I'll be quiet lol.

So mine is being shipped, I have the shipping number and it's in transit. When I log into Advanced Tracking through FedEx though I have two shipments coming from FitBit, any idea why? I only ordered one Versa but both packages are the same dimensions and weight. Is FitBit sending me two?

  1. I got an e-mail from FB saying there was an error in charging, and to check and confirm that I input the correct CC information. 
  2. At exactly the same time, I got an email from my CC, saying there was a fraud alert due to attempted (blocked) charge by FitBit.
  3. I communicated with the CC company, and indicated it was valid, and then the CC said, right, good to go. Try again.
  4. I tried the link on the FitBit e-mail to check and confirm billing information. It didn't work.  I tried from 3 browsers in both privacy and open modes.
  5. I then communicated with FB "customer service" and that got my heart rate WAYYYY UP...
    I got multiple answers, conflicting answers, and when it all seemed ironed out,
  6. Then I got a reply to the e-mail I sent to FB the night before to inform them that their page for information validation is broken..  I was back in line, and it would be a 4-6 week delay due to back orders.

*whoooo*...  that got me mad


And then, after some time, I realized it isn't worth being mad for, and came here and shared that.
Just like everyone else, I can get my grubby hands on a FB Versa in just another 10 days.  So if this doesn't work, its a bummer...  but I'll try to put the money in REI's coffers. Then I get the device, FitBit gets only their wholesale price, and the rest can go to REI, which is a great company. (and their support and team are awesome!)

 

And, now that I sound like a zen master, I will also say, I communicated with FitBit Support this morning, and it appears that things are moving forward. Sadly, they won't give me any time information, which is a downer, but ...  I am not as zen and at peace as I wish I was.

 

Like everyone else, I want my versa.
ahhh...
at least it's a beautiful day. I may go for a stroll.

That's the risk you run when you try and get things earlier. Same thing happened with the Ionic. I remember some people cancelling their fitbit orders as they were convinced they would get it earlier from a 3rd party retailer. Suffice to say, they were upset when the fitbit orders shipped and there was no sign of their new order even processing.
