Heart Rate Monitoring inaccurate for two weeks - FitBit Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The heart rate monitor on my FitBit Versa has been inaccurately tracking for almost two weeks now. I tracks my heart rate as extremely high all throughout the day no matter what I am doing.  I saw on another post that there was to be an update to fix this problem but I still have not seen one. Considering one of the main functions I use my FitBit for is calorie tracking, I would like to see this problem fixed ASAP.

Hi, see this topic: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Versa-Lite/HR-not-tracking-lights-stopped-flashing/m-p/3281001..., which is the second topic in this community on top of the screen that's pinned just regarding this problem.

Thank you for your reply, but no, this did not solve my problem.

Hi SarahMarie,

Did you manage to solve this problem? I spent all morning talking to fitbit support and they were useless.

Thanks

Gill

Not really. I few days after I posted, I woke up to my FitBit being very warm on my wrist and then it shut off completely. FitBit ended up replacing it due to malfunction. I am not sure if the two problems were related.

Same happened  to mine 2 months after I got it.  They replaced the face. Now I have a problem with heart rate remaining same even when I turn if off.

Thank you. Fitbit are refusing to replace my tracker despite it being only 2 months old and this being the same problem others have experienced whom have had their trackers replaced. Very disappointing service.

They first offered me 50% off a new one but I said no and that I’d rather switch to a Garmin. That’s when they said they would send me a new one. Try that!

Thanks. There doesn’t seem to be any budging. They say it’s a bug and I have to wait. Apparently this is a bug they’ve known about for over a year. But my watch is now useless so I think I’ll make a formal complaint.
