How can I replace my Versa screen?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve got my Versa less than 3 weeks ago. It’s working fine but the screen is broken 2 days ago by accident that caused injury as well. I called the Fitbit support and they told me the warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents, which totally understandable. But there is no repair store or anywhere I could replace the screen. It’s ridiculous!

Now how can I repair my watch? There should be a process for this kind of situation. What can I do now?

I agree, wish the sales person at Best Buy had done a little cross selling & suggested I buy a protector when I purchased the watch!

No Fitbit doesn’t replace the screen nor do they supply it to potential
labs/stores that might do the work. There are no substitute screens
available. Marilyn

No   Not only does Fitbit replace the screen, they do not supply the screen to external labs that might do the work.  There are no substitute replacement screens available.  So to the garbage!

i bought a Charge 3. And they have a new model that is waterproof and seems to do what the Charge does for $100  Marilyn

It can’t be replaced by any one , any place and Fitbit is not concerned
with the proble. If they were they should suggest the purchase is a screen
saver and indicate the only way to replace the screen is through the
purchase of insurance which replace the broken screen with a completely new
Versa. They do not replace screens and there is a $15 surcharge to get the
new Versa replacement. Again only with insurance. And the insurance is
only available for two years.
Buy a charge 3. They hold up

You should have learned from all the posts that there is absolutely no way
to replace the screen. Fitbit should emphasize that insurance is
imperative when the sell the Versa, as they supply a new Versa. The
insurace is also only for two year. They do not fix them and no one else is
able to!!! Buy a Charge 3!

They don’t replace them. I changed to an Amazfit &have been pleased with it. It also holds a charge for a long time! The only thing I can’t do on it is track the amount of water I drink each day.

There Is no fix for it or repair centre and not covered by Fitbit you have
to buy a whole new one that's same issue we all have on this thread !!

I know, I've already figured that out. I bought mine via Amazon and got
the warranty and they fixed mine with no issue and no cost. Of course it
was asurion insurance company that fixed it. Fitbit could give a crap
less. Lol

Same here!

Mine fell off my wrist and the screen has smashed.

Fitbit offered 25% off a new watch?! I don’t need a new watch- I need a replacement screen!

SO disappointed! Now what?!

They don't offer screen replacements because of the nature of the device.
Even Apple, Samsung and Garmin don't offer screen replacments because the
whole watch being replaced is more economical The 25% off they offered you
on a new Versa would be cheaper than if they offered screen replacment care
most likely.

Fitbit don't do this to be crude. They just can't offer this service on
their devices.

I highly HIGHLY recommend depending where you purchase your new Fitbit (or
any other smart watch should you do) purchase extended care and look at the
business terms of service. I work at a business where if we can't repair
your device we will replace it, for Fitbit screen damage we do that by
default.

Amazon I know replace your Fitbit and it's only around 20 USD or so for the
extended care/warranty.

Apple, Samsung and Garmin screens are of infinitely better quality.  Their screens don't break with minimal impact. It's obvious that, given the poor quality of the Versa screen, you should buy something else or if you really want one buy insurance with the Versa.  The point, however, it that is a substandard product.

They don't replace screen. I went back to place that I brought it from. And they were nice enough to charge me $180 on staff discount and buy a brand new watch and still keep the old working watch with cracked screen, of which I sold second hand on the buy swap and sell site with the receipt
