Does anyone know how I can reply to text messages on my new versa? Or is that not an option?

You need to wait until the functionality is released to the Versa. I hear it will be May or June.

Yeah, tbe Versa is my first Fitbit. I had the pebble Steel which was fine and got the job done. This was a sort of unnecessary upgrade. Even my old Pebble had text display and auto reply at $60. This is one of the key reasons for these and it doesnt do it. So far im quite annoyed. If they dont get this funtion/feature soon ill give it to my wife and go back to pebble. She wanted one to upgrade feom her Alta but im not paying for two. Ill give her mine. Im patient so ill give it a month then move on.

It was advertised as not having that ability. I also recently read that that ability will come out over the next few months however start with Android phones first.

Hi.
I just got my Versa and, after reading some threads, it seems that the Quick Reply function is on Androids. How do we set up this feature? (I have a Galaxy S8 if that matters)

Quick Reply isn't available yet but should become a feature shortly. Fitbit has suggested May for the release of this feature.

I have the updated firmware and quick reply is working with my Android phone. I see how to modify the default replies. Is it possible to add additional replies? I would like to have more than 5 options plus the emojis.

Unfortunately, no option for more replies. Fitbit needs to incorporate more replies because 5 are not enough for most of us.
@AlessFitbit, please pass this along to the Fitbit developer team.

Thank you! Can you send one of those quick replies to a person without first receiving a text? For example, if I create a reply to say "15 minutes", can I use it to notify my daughter that I will be home in 15 minutes? Or would she need to first send me a text asking me when I will be home?

You need to receive the text in order to reply to it. You can't initiate from the Versa. Old notifications (texts) will report back that they are expired so you can't use an old text to send off a message either.

You cannot reply to messages if your Versa is paired to Apple products.
