Hi
How do I make my calorie count accurate ?
it says I lost over 2000 calories yesterday I’m assuming this can not be right! I walked just over 10,000 steps but I’m thinking that is so high. Can someone please tell me how I make the step counter and the calorie counter accurate for each day please

It may really be ok. Are you taking into account your BMR calories?
As well as tracking calories burned through activity your fitbit also tracks your BMR calories. These are the calories you burn just keeping your body alive (even when asleep). They are calculated from your profile settings for age, height, weight etc so you needn't be wearing your fitbit to get them. What you are seeing includes the total BMR calories burned since midnight.

Having the exact same issue with my Versa 3 which I started using only two days ago. Yesterday I walked a bit more than 10000 steps, at a casual pace, and at the end of the day it says I burned 2600 calories. That's over 1000(!) calories burned after subtracting my bmr calories, which is beyond inaccurate. I've checked to make sure that my profile settings (weight, hight, age) are correct, which they are, so don't understand why it would measure calories burned so inaccurately. Really hope there will be a fix for this problem.

I’m having the same problem I’m 23stone 6ft tall my BMR is around 2500kcal but it’s saying I’m burning 5000 calories just by doing my job walking around at work I’m not sure why it’s so high

I'm having the same problem but in the opposite direction. I walked over 10k steps and did a 45 minute workout which burned over 400 calories alone but I'm only showing 1400ish calories burned. Something is definitely amiss!
