How does the Strava app work on the Versa? Mine keeps telling me No Recent Activity. I've run several times. Do I need to download the Strava app to my phone?

Hello @KMW17, I hope you're doing well, it's great to see you around the Fitbit Community.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. The Strava app in your Versa will only display the latest exercises you have recorded through the Strava app, however you will first need to link both your Strava and Fitbit accounts for the information to show up in the watch.
To connect your Fitbit and Strava accounts:
Your Fitbit activities will appear on Strava, and runs and rides tracked with Strava will contribute to your all-day Fitbit stats. If you have a Fitbit watch, use the Strava app on your watch to see your last 10 run or bike exercises. If you want to export your GPS data from your Fitbit account to Strava, see How do I export Fitbit data?
Note the following types of activities won't sync to Strava:
Note that after linking your accounts you may see some differences in the way data is calculated for your exercises on each site. For more information, see Strava's Calorie Calculation article.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Can swim laps recorded on Versa sync to Strava?

Hello @Cuteh, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community.
Please note that exercises recorded with the Fitbit app or Fitbit devices that do not include GPS data are NOT currently sent to Strava, which means that swim laps can't be transferred as they are not GPS exercises.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

In the fitbit app for the versa apps under the strava settings I had to click the authorize hyperlink. I just got it to work.

So to be clear, you have to run with your phone and the Strava app for it to work? I was hoping I could stick to watch and headphones....I’ll scrap Strava if I have to be saddled with the phone again! Lol

Hi, I've done the above 3 steps and did so when I first bought my fitbit on Monday. I did a run tonight (ensured gps was on), and I've synced.
I've got 'automatically sync fitbit activities to strava' on however the run is only appearing on my fitbit dashboard but not strata?
This is very frustrating! Am I missing a trick?

Hey.
Trick is to have fitbit and strava "linked".
Then you have to record any workout with GPS.
Workout recording has to be initiates from the FitBit app/watch.
"Autodetected" workouts won't sync.
An non-GPS workouts won't sync.
Once workout is done and synced back to FitBit app it will after a while show up in a Strava dashboard as well.

I have followed the instructions and still doesn’t work? Really disappointing given the app is on the watch and seems to be easy to work, however it doesn’t work and I am extremely frustrated with constantly re installing the app to try and get it to work with Fitbit.
